Remove and isolate all metal. All metal components must be removed from the latex before long-term storage. Store the metal snaps, pins, and any buckle hardware separately in a container, away from the latex garments, as metal causes rapid and irreversible black chemical stains.
Since the apron, cuffs, and collar are often thin, how do I prevent tearing them when handling?
Handle only by reinforced seams and use the flat pad of your fingers. Thin accessories are extremely fragile. Never use your fingernails to pinch or pull. If you must adjust the item, use the soft, flat pad of your hand and manipulate it gently, pulling only on the edges that are reinforced with a seam or thicker binding.
